Android is currently standing as one of the favorite platform of the users all over the world. Many new updates were brought to platform in the year 2013. On one side, the present Android users got many applications and games to play with while on the other hand some new users were also added to the Android list. Today, we have brought a quick review on some of the handsets which could be said as topping the android charts for the year 2013.

(1) HTC One:

The HTC however is facing financial problems these days but still it came out with its best creation in the 2013. The HTC One is set as the best creation from the Taiwanese maker and the design used comes second to the Apple’s recently released iPhone.

Its new Ultra Pixel sensor was although a gamble but the imaging tech still delivered images that are considered the best from the ones being provided by other Android handsets. With the new Ultra Pixel sensor, the manufacturer dropped from usual mega pixel count available with the Smartphones of other makers available in the market. The Sense user interface of the company is still the best and brings along a number of updates with the Android 4.4 KitKat to arrive HTC in January 2014.

(2) Samsung Galaxy Note 3:

Samsung introduced two amazing handsets for its customers in the year 2013 namely the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3. However in this page we will be discussing about the recently released phablet of the company. The Note 3 is a huge phone of the Korean maker which is actually great to hold.

It has a great screen with impressive battery life and the design which is tweaked. The S Pen Stylus is a neat feature which is the USP of the Galaxy Note phablets from Samsung. The annoying add-ons and clever case which keeps the top of the screen open for receiving notifications makes it an unique effort on the part of the maker.

(3) Google Nexus 5:

This handset was the first one from the Google to get updated to the entirely new Android 4.4 KitKat software. Google Nexus 5 can be considered a good handset as it offers the latest unadulterated version of Android. Also, this phone is a more rugged and improved design when compared to the Nexus 4 handset released last year. The maker has packed the Nexus 5 handset with a clever 5 inch display which is one of the main improvements brought through it.

(4) Sony Xperia Z1:

Sony is also rolling out some interesting phones this year. The Xperia Z and Z1 are some of its remarkable creations for 2013. Sony Xperia Z1 is a superb phone packed with a sleek design and an spiced up Android version. There is a 20.7 mega pixel camera sensor which makes it a perfect option for photographers. Recently, the phone was updated to the Android 4.3 version by the manufacturer.

(5) Moto G:

Google acquired the US based Motorola in 2013 and the maker is now playing bold in introducing the budget phones to the market. Current flagship of the phone is Moto G which is a high end device though and can’t be called as a cheap handset.
